    Hi All:

2011 2.7. Been wet around here and the engine bay has been soaked a few times.
Now I have what is a squeak/grind. I imagine its the belt idler bearing.

I cant seem to find a definite answer on what all I should replace.
I think there is a tension pulley, and some idler pulleys?

Can someone clue me in on the part numbers? Is it 1 idler and one tension pulley?

Also read you can replace just the bearings? But that was for a v6. Couldn't find anything on my 2.7.

    Thanks.

Not impressed with the camelback parts dept. He said I could not purchase the idler pulley on the bottom separately. Said I had to buy a mounting brkt with it. @ $309.00. Nope. Not right. I am going to go to my local stealership and let them rape me for less.

So I went to have a look at the work required to do this. Put a wrench on one of the pulleys.
What is the torque? Seemed like I was going to break the bolt. Are they reverse thread?
Anyone ever done this on the 4 banger and have some tips?

I've done it on the V6, getting the belt off was harder than changing the pulley. Did you look at rockauto.com for the pulleys? I got mine there for pretty cheap. As far as torque, just don't crank them on.
