I am a huge tacoma (and all off road vehicle) enthusiast so i decided i would go ahead and start a profile here on TW. A few years back I bought a new 2015 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and have been thrilled with its performance. My old truck was a 2005 tacoma pre-runner so switching to a 4wd has allowed me to explore several more places. First mod i did was plasti dip the grill black (pretty standard) and the first major purchase I made is a shell. Living up in Portland has potential for numerous trails that are great to camp out on. Here is a pic of her getting a little bit dusty.

And another pic of her getting stuck in a mud pit. (I thought i was invincible with my rear locker). Turns out that I should have gotten rid of the stock tires earlier.

Here I am few months later I have finally built up the funds to pour some money into the truck. Off the bat I knew I wanted to lift her and the cheapest way to do that is through spacers and blocks........ jk i didn't do that. OME is the way to go and I haven't looked back. I went with the nitrochargers and 886 coils since I figured I would be adding a front bumper in the future. Since I do admire the aesthetics as well as the functionality, I decided to throw a 13mm on the top hat of the front suspension to give it that extra half inch lift. Here is a pic of her with just the lift on it.

The whole purpose of the lift was to obviously put larger tires on it....preferably 33's. Turns out 285/75's nor 255/85's fit on stock rims. (they don't clear the UCA while turning). I was forced into buying new rims (not completely opposed). Ended up getting some 16" pacer rims that had the offset I needed for 285/75 Kelly Safari's. Loving the storm trooper look.

It's been a snowy one here in Portland! So about a month down the road I noticed that my steering is somewhat wobbly and something seems floaty/misaligned despite me getting the truck aligned after the new wheels begin installed. Maybe I need new UCA's? or less stress on the CV joints? Anyone else had this problem?? Here is a pic of my CV joints below. Cheers guys! and let me know if you would like to go wheeling/show me your favorite trails
