Here's my daily carry. Spyderco Sage 1. Broke the tip off about a year back being a Dumb-ass using it for a screwdriver.

I got pretty shitty with some extended family a while back who insisted I give them my knife to use as a screwdriver to fix some piece of furniture or something... Not in your lifetime lady...

Don't blame you one bit. I outta have my Ass kicked for using mine that way. A $200 knife should not be used in place of a $10-$15 Screwdriver.

You should be able to fix the tip with a good sharpening kit.
My daily carry is a swiss army knife for that same reason - seems to get more lose screws than having to use the blade to cut something most of the time.

I don't even know what the rules are in Florida. I just carry whatever I feel like. Mostly smaller knives just because my pockets are always full of other stuff, but depending on where I go I might sometimes grab something more substantial without even thinking about any applicable laws. I grew up in Africa - no rules there!

I do have one of the Lansky knife sharpening systems. Just haven't really needed to touch up the edge on this thing. Now I do use it almost daily mainly to open boxes. But this Spyderco CPM S30V steel really keeps and holds an edge!

I prefer to be legal also, I just don't know what it is in this case. Never really cross my mind when I put a knife in my pocket. Just not used to have to think about that.

I found a winter camo knife at my local fishing spot similar to that one...someone left it behind after cutting up bait I guess.
