I'm looking into getting some BFG KO2's for my 2015 Pro... It came with 265/70r16 KO's. Everywhere I look the 265/75r16 KO2's are like 40 to 50 bucks cheaper per tire as opposed to the 265/70r16's. Why is a smaller tire so much more expensive? What am I missing here?

Also, the guy at Costco said they wouldn't put on the 265/75's because they are more than 3% bigger and they might rub? So... will they rub?

    Thanks in advance!

Don't know about the price difference, but the 265/75/16's will fit with no issues.

265/75R16 is a more common size, that's most likely why it's less expensive.
You shouldn't have any issues with fitment on a Pro.

I just put the 265/75/16 on mine. No rubbing whatsoever.

Thanks guys! Got the 75's. Saved 60 bucks per tire! $240 on the whole set! Costco still didn't put them on... And they fit perfect!

Keep an eye on the load range though. You may not want the heavier load range in 265-75X16 since these are physically heavier. I don't believe they make the KO2 in a standard load range in 265-75X16.

They don't, you need to up the wheel size to 265/70R17 to get the C-load version of the tire. I swapped my wheels to 17s for that reason.
