I'm a new owner of a 2017 Taco OR DCSB and havn't exactly read everything in the manual yet...

I do notice that even when I press off on the A/C unit -- the passenger side A/C unit display icon remains on - with an arrow pointing to the head rest of the passenger only - driver side is "off" blank -- this seems to be indicative of air still flowing - although all signs point to the system being OFF.

Additionally, I notice that air from what seems to be outside air -- will continue to vent through the air vents, unless I close them. Even then outside air still is flowing through to the vents, and slightly leaking through even a closed vent.

Is this by design? Is my A/C unit malfunctioning?

Any info is appreciated. Thank you!

Turn recycle on and the air flow will stop
