Ran it for about a year - overall is in good shape. There is a slight amount of surface rust on the screw holes, but its only noticeable when unmounted and could be touched up with some RTV if desired. Avoid the long wait and have it now!

Would prefer to deal locally in the Seattle area if possible as these are big and heavy to ship, but would be willing to entertain the idea if somebody really wants it shipped.

For now went back to a SR5 grille, but may dip the original OR grille in the future. I drive to Idaho on a pretty regular basis and had an issue with the surround in the extreme cold, and I can't really guarantee I wont encounter those conditions again on future trips.

If you use a small rubber washer or even a dab of RTV I'd imagine you will be ok. The rust only occurs where the powder coat gets scratched during the installation from the screw heads. You also can't see any of it when the screws are in, but no getting around the fact that steel will rust on the surface where exposed to the elements.

Were you one of the guys who posted about the grille surround cracking on the driver's side? All fixed now?

Yep that was me. Snagged a new surround/sr5 grill on ebay - quick 5 minute swap out and I'm back in business.
