HELP! Loss of power CEL & Track light on

my gf's 2010 tacoma trd off road
Has the check engine light on and the traction control light on. Noticable loss of power... any body?

 

Get the codes read.

Can be 100 things or it can be 2. Codes help decipher it all.

 

I'll say my 2007 seems like a better truck than her 2010

I ain't no expert....
Other car brands with this symptom, it's a module under the hood...
Turn off, wait 20 seconds and restart ...
You should be able to drive a bit but the same thing will eventually re-occur
Find the module or read those codes diagnostic

so it turns out
Was a mouse that chewed up the knock sensor... long story short $2k plus
Fortunately my girls insurance covers rodent damage.
Glad because I really don't feel like wrenching on this thing.
With all the damn rain we've been having in northern California our insurance agent said there has been tons of calls reguarding the same problem.
Be aware!
I'm gonna buy some of that rodent deturant spray for my truck.
