Yeah... Kinda liking the idea of it. Want to attempt it by doing something easy (back wall and doors). Then, if it goes well and I feel adventurous I'll try to tackle the roof and possibly everything else.

Hahaha fair enough man. So on a random side note, was I correct about the wiring on the switch on the switch? In regards to the sound proofing, good luck man haha maybe tuck tape the seems to limit th smell of the peal and seal haha, I'll probably tackle the project as I compete other mods haha

 

Yup, correct about the wiring. And other peeps have mentioned the taping thing. Not a bad idea/suggestion. Guess I'll see how it all goes when I get to it.

 

Installed some bootleg Dynamat (Noico from Amazon) and fixed the passenger side speaker rattle

Hey, what kind of window visors are those? I like it.

anybody got this crap on their window seals? How do i get it off? its on all of my window seals, driver, pass., and rear window. its like mildew or something like that, and it doesnt wanna come off no matter what i do. it was on there when we bought it almost 3 years ago and it hasn't bothered me a whole lot but its starting too



Besides the window trim, made him work today. yanked out about 6 trees with a tow strap with the mighty taco, and hauled off all the trees plus a whole bunch of other crap. and at the end of the day, rewarded it with a nice hot bath and some tire shine

 

got everything installed today. only 5 hours of labor and a spacer stud is all it cost me to install. with me and a buddy doing the labor. man she handles like a dream. way better than stock suspension on a leveling kit.

Put in a new pioneer double din and finally got around to tinting my fog lights. Even found a sweet logo for a background

Yea i had a flat on my shitflop at20s i t would lift the truck high enough to take the flat off but not enough to put a good tire back on. Stupid as fuck

 

I'm almost deaf in my right ear and about 30% loss in left. I can crack the driver's side window just enough to get a good whistle going and I can't hear a word she says. After 27 years of marriage I still have to point at my ear and shake my head to let her know I can't hear her. I'll sometimes look over and she's just a jabbering away! She might be calling me an SOB or saying I can buy that ATN FLIR scope I've been talking about, I just don't know!!

It has made long car trips quite pleasant though!

 

For many years I've carried a piece of 2x12 about 30 inches long in my trucks. Living in Florida, you are always having to lift with the jack in sand. That piece of wood has save me and others many times.

In the last about 10 years I now carry a Hi-Lift jack, that same block of wood and one of those red base plates. The Hi-Lift base plate has come in handy a couple of times.
