Hello! name is Adam.... I am a new member, but have visited the site quite a few times over the years.

I want to say THANK YOU!! to the staff that keeps this site up and running. I know first hand how much work it can be to maintain sites like this. The information in this forum is amazing.

I own a 09' Tacoma TRD Sport... Bought new in Sept. 08'. I haven't done much. A mild leveling lift to allow for 285/70 r17 tires, audio upgrade and some cosmetics (window tint, color matched grill and eyelids, shaved decals). Next on the Taco agenda is new headlights... retrofit.. and new Morimoto fog lights.

Thanks for reading... and thank you for providing a great site filled with helpful information!

Thank you for the warm welcome! I have been a fan of the blacked out look since i was a kid. I saw a K-5 Blazer completely blacked out. It was the coolest truck ever..... could have been a POS with a rattle can paint job.... but at 10, that thing was the stuff!!!! Now i am torn on what to do about the headlights. I want them as blacked out as possible. So projector seems like the best route to achieve that. If any of you can chime in on the difficulty on installing the kit DIY vs spending the money on the labor. I am handy, and have read up a bit. Just not sure if you still have to cut the back of the light bucket still or not. I don't want to put myself in a position where i end up having to have someone do it right because i made a bad cut.

Thanks again for the welcome.... and for any assistance.

same boat, the RAM I went to after my Taco was blacked out.

I've seen some neat headlights, not sure on price range but I have been following a site called theretrofitsource.

    best of luck
