Thanks guys. Looking forward to finishing it up after work today and putting up some pics. It was a LOT of work. Hopefully I won't ever build my own again.....lol.

I am insanely stoked at how this bumper/hitch came out! I kept just staring at it lol. Everything came together perfect. It took 4 days of work but damn I love it. Intercooler is 5" shorter than the previous IC but will work much better and allowed room for the hitch plate. Oil based flat black over POR primer. Running lights had to be remounted to fit the bumpers bars.

@SilverGhost not sure if you came up with the patch idea but I love it and be adding to em'.

Got in my LED switchbacks so I'll have to wire those in. Easier to have 1 unit than separate LEDs like I had before. Also the other little thingy is "laser." It puts a red laser line off a few feet from the vehicle on the pavement when the brake lights come on. I know I already am in contact with E.T. but this thing is cool and safer. You will be seeing more lasers on cars in the future especially brake lighting. Rapid deflators and auto deflators also to keep on board. Got the laser, deflators, and switchbacks all for about $50.

NO man. I don't follow other trucks through the desert so I'm not worried about rock kick up. There really isn't a lot of room for a rock crawling type boulder to get in there between the hitch and everything else so I feel it's good for what I'll be doing. Time tells all.

Wasn't my idea. Someone else got me hooked. I really like your patches. Very different flavor. But they look great. I wasn't to sure about the square tube for the bumper. You really changed my mind on that it fits your truck well. Great job bud!

I'm in the middle of designing plate for my bumper. I'm going to see what it looks like if I plate the back side of the tube to clean it up a bit. I want to try and cover up the radiator core support. We'll see how it turns out.... peace!

Question for any turbo guys..... I put on that new intercooler that is way smaller than my other one. 7" now vs. 12" tall. Now my afr dropped from 11.2 in boost to 9.8 which is dangerous. I adjusted my ebc duty cycle upwards and brought the afr to 10.5 and I'll tune the ebc some more after work. So why is putting a smaller intercooler making such a huge difference in afr? Am I getting more lean due to hotter intake temps? Any suggestions on remedies? I can fine tune my ebc to get it where it needs to be by adjusting my duty cycle, gain, and or spring pressure. Mainly super curious why this happened from reducing 5" off the IC.

maybe ur truck is telling you to crack open a bottle of nitrous and lean it up a bit:drevil:... but I don't see how your computer wouldn't see higher intake temps and adjust for that for real tho

In boost my AEM takes over. It's set for certain parameters and won't adjust enough like the OE ecu would.

dude low AFRs is rich. High AFRs is lean.

Your aren't in any danger. That said, you are probably loosing power and blowing through fuel like a mother haha

I apologize, my bad rich. Thinking if I up my turbos flow with the ebc it'll make more air and I can flatten it out to 11......11.5ish range. So strange man......

...no sure how your EBC is going to change the flow of the turbo...

the EBC will change the wastegate operation in terms of opening and closing and the spike as well as over all end pressure...but won't change the turbo flow. Kinda set in stone unless you change the whole turbo.

Or are you refering to spool timing? In which case, are your AFRs super rich at first and then going back to normal? (normal for how it was that is)

You're probably rich because the fuel table is set to MAP and your charge is less dense with the smaller IC. You'll likely have to recalibrate your fuel tables. I would be careful adding too much boost to level it out since you didn't set up the fic yourself you won't know the upper MAP setting. If you're outside the range you'll be running on stock fuel only.

You have a different pressure drop across the intercooler now. It's going to change your fueling a bit. Your tune will change if you change out a part for something different. BAT won't be as drastic of a change since you are spraying meth.

I can control how fast it spins by letting more or less pressure out the wg in boost. More exhaust through the wg the slower it spins.

    I realize that.

But that isn't the cure to your problems. Also not sure why you'd want to have more turbo lag. The coolest part about an EBC is it get rid of a big or lag.

Im with everyone else. You need to tweak the tune.
