I am not encouraging anyone to go use this site I am really looking for people that have or currently do use it and had any success..

I am sceptical to believe that people are not being payed to raise the prices of the items. Why would 4 people put in a combine total of around 1000 bids (That is $600) and then give up just so the item could sell 100 bids later to someone that jumps in towards the end.

So when you look at the item won page and it says
    Placed Bids (197):

Is that how many bids the winner placed or is that the total amount of bids that the item received?

My strategy would be something like this:

If you are set on getting an item, lets say xbox 360. Know that you will be buying new so you are ready to spend up to $300. I would wait until 1 or 2 seconds left before you bid to make sure someone else is raising the price before you. This allows you to keep your bids down lowering your total cost. Let the others rack up on the bids while you sit back.

Interesting, sounds like Quibids makes quite a chunk of change

They charge all the bidders that lost as well as the winning bidder

I was reading something on there site that yes while some things get a couple thousand bids they used an example that a $100 giftcard was sold for .20 (4 bids)... and if someone puts in 100 bids.. they can use that 60$ spent and put it towards buying the item at full price.. the only way to keep your bids from being worth zilch..

still sounds sketchy.. I think Ill have to hope I can wait things out till they get close to being over and jump in at the end.. im not wasting any bids when the price is obviously too low
