First time truck and Taco owner...

    It was a harsh winter for a few weeks in Jackson. Got below zero. The only modification I made to the vehicle was an cold air intake system. During that freeze start up, I noticed a difference in how she started up. But she did well. I'd say if you were here for more than just one season, I would advocate it more. But since I'm here for just the winter, you should be fine. Regardless of how cold the winter was here (-20 or 15), I drove her every couple days to get her oil circulated through and for her to warm up a bit. Hope that helps.

    And, I think this guy has got a good point because its the battery that turns over your truck, initially. So may want to think about that as well.

    AVS window visors
    How are you liking your KO2's? I've got a 2016 SR5 and I'm about to get new tires but am torn between those and DuraTracs.
