For year's I've wanted a Tacoma. Being Military, I told myself and my wife, that once I made MSgt (Master Sergeant for you civilians ;) that I would treat myself to my first new truck. Well, I made MSgt and for three years after that, no truck. It was a bit of contention between my wife and I because she was being responsible and I wanted my truck. Well, finally last month I got my wish and took the plunge. I bought a 2017 Tacoma, blue Sport TRD 4WD double cab and I really like it. Funny thing...I've always wanted one, but never drove one till the day I bought my truck.

Now I look for reasons to run an errand just so I can drive it. I look for those parking spots that I can park close to the curb to give the joker next to me plenty of room to open his door. I've washed it more in the last month than I ever did my Junker Honda or my wife's KIA. I love being able to connect my Samsung to the stereo and listen to my music. It looks good and I feel good driving it.

I'm excited to read up on this forum, learn more about my truck and get into some mods possibly. It's great to have a network of people to ask questions and get sound advice before I break something.

Thanks in advance for the help.
    Richard
