My black 2010 came with gray pinstripes on each side of it. They looked good when the truck was new, but now they're starting to fade pretty badly, and I think I'd prefer the blacked out look.

What would be the best way to remove these? It looks like they're just stickers, would I be fine just peeling them off?

I would just be concerned that the paint underneath the pin stripping is a touch darker (ghosting) as the sun hasnt touched it since it was made. Not sure if that will actually occur but worth a thought.

These are amazing! Used one to take off a ton of pinstriping on an old conversion van... worked really well, and one wheel easily finished an all-day job! Just follow 3M's instructions and watch your speed... even on a horribly cared for, 15 year old van, the paint fading under the pinstripes wasn't bad, and easily polished out...

This is something I hadn't thought about. The fading is only really bad on the driver side doors, so I can live with it for now, but they are gonna come off soon.
