They are because they are swampers. I also think they may not be centered in the beadlocks which i guess can happen (i bought them pre mounted from someone).

Finally replaced my broke ass winch line today. Went from 5/16 x100ft to 3/8x80ft from custom splice.com, cant beat 120 bucks!! Im going to use the non broken sections of rope to make extensions.

    Out with the old:
    20170212_192610.jpg
    And in with the new:
    20170212_195933.jpg

Oh and 3/8 BARELY fits on the drum, it rubs in a few spots. Hopefully after a few good pulls it stretches out and beds in a bit and that goes away.

Also did another hardcore mod, i got the sun visors to work with the cage. 3 seconds a side with a cutoff wheel and they fit again. One of those things you dont miss until it gone.

Much less likely to murder a bus full of nuns...or me when I'm helping you winch. Actually, fuck the nuns, I'm just happy to not have to dodge flying winch line on this thing again.

Finding a place to fit this stupid thing SUCKED!! Im sure any cooling effect will be offset by me creating a restrictive ps return system and ill be right back where i started LOL!!

It did feel good to lay down the first weld beads of the wheeling/building season!

I put mine on my crossmember for the leaf spring hanger on the back. Fit right below the radiator and out of rocks ways.

Mine would not fit there, it hangs slightly below the frame rail, and its a flat plate above it so it would be sitting in a pocket of hot ass air, and exposed to rocks. I have another crossmember right below my fan, but it has a solid skid infront of it, and theres no room to put it ontop of the crossmember below the fan. I looked all over to fit this stupid thing and this was the best spot.

I put one of mine under the bed. The extra hose for more capacity. Works good for me.

I was looking at doing something like that, but i didnt know if that would mess with the pump. The ps fluid flow is voodoo to me, i still dont understand how one side is under pressure and the return isnt.

Going to moab the 3rd week of May so im assembling the work list, i just need the weather to agree with me:

    Finish up the powersteering cooler
    Center the rear axle
Add leafs to the rear and ds front
    Install air bumps
    Mount my toolbox
Figure out a way to mount my spare (ditched the old carrier)
New seats, either out of a zj or order new ones
    Build a front bumper
    Check the wheel bearings

I plan on going to some remote trails, and not to get all expo fag, but i need to mount some fuel cans or something in the bed. With my fuel tank smashed to shit, i have only 150 miles of range. Good thing is the tuck will be going on a trailer with my buddies jeep to get there (illinois to moab and back).

    Slander,
What seats are you going with?
I'll have a set of Corbeau's and dual locking brackets up for grabs soon.

Ive been looking at mastercraft sahara. Problem is there are no offroad shops around here to go sit in some to test. May havr to do a quick weekend trip and fly to CO with my wife to test some out at a 4wp store or something.

How do you like the corbeaus? Whats the model?
