So for all you N Seattle folk,... I'm renting a 32' motorhome to travel from Vancouver Island to Seattle for some medical appointments. My wife is sick and doesn't travel well so a traveling bedroom was the best solution I could come up with. We are looking for a place we can legally park and ideally plug into a power outlet for probably 3-4 nights. The closest campground is further away from the appointments than I'd like to be and the local malls don't allow overnight RV parking.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm thinking anywhere close to the Northwest Hospital would be ideal. Shoreline and south, basically.

    Thanks.

    Dear NeverStuck,

I am sorry to hear about your wife. What an ugly situation. I am going to drop you some contact information to further help you.

Seattle is an extremely congested city. I am sure you are well aware of this already. Your question of where you can stay overnight with an RV in Seattle is like asking where to dry dock a 40 foot sailboat in downtown Manhattan. Children's Hospital over by University Village lets their patient families not from Washington park their RVs on the hospital grounds. This is the only place can think of the top of my head.

Please go ahead and contact me, and I can research places before you get here.

    Take it easy,
    Paul
