Hey guys, it's a Yakima rack with the fairing. Next week my snugtop rebel comes in and I'm attaching a prinsu toprac. Hopefully it jives well with the Yakima up front.

Someone with an SR want to weigh in on my question, posed a few days ago in the Billie thread with no response?

Gen 2 5100s at .85, Gen 3 5100s at .65 or 1.1? What's the best option to avoid the dreaded "dog wiping it's ass in the yard" stance, say with 100 lb in the bed? No rear lift.

What running boards do you have on these? Can't tell from the snow. Or are they sliders?

Thanks! I went with this complete kit from Amazon. Installed myself and have it on since Nov. No complaints on quality and price. It comes with complete kit, just add a fuse tap so it turns on with ignition and a switch since I have the clutch start button.

@2Airheads got the step by step install from @moe2o4. Here is his link. Thanks for the write up @moe2o4!!!

@MeefZah I am by no means a mechanic but I did manage to install the lift myself. The struts I installed with stock springs is a toytec/eubach which from my research is similar to bilstein 5100 (don't know Gen). I set my spring to 1.4 inch before lifting back and there was no rake present. Personally, I'd try .85. And if it doesn't work then have a spring compressor ready and go for a smaller size or add a small lift in back.

@5ubtle I bought a used running board from a second gen Tacoma for 80 dollars. It came out of a double cab. Front and middle attach points worked fine but the back attach point did not. So I attached to frame and then drilled and screwed to running board. Have gotten lots of compliments on it in person, looks clean and saved a ton of money! :)

@Biblite thanks! I like @moe2o4 tacoma a lot and much of my build was inspiration from his.
