Cool, thinking about doing this mod as it makes the front look darker, but not totally blacked.... I like

It's a great mod... And if you're like everyone else and scared to mess up, don't worry about it. Just set aside a whole day to have free, and follow the "how to" on the BHLM and you'll be fine! I was worried at first, looking back it wasn't that hard.

02/25/15 - Clear View Rear View bracket

Thank you to the two men who understand the struggle of a tall person who owns a tacoma. Bought from http://birddawgindustries.com, got here in a couple days, went on great and has been a blessing already.

03/13/15 - LED shifter indicator swap (amber)

So I decided to do a homemade LED swap on the shifter indicator and it came out really nice. I'll be adding another led to the area for more light.

I used 198 (or whatever the map light and license plate light sizes are), undid the metal prongs on the light and refit them for the smaller size bulb area, then just electric taped the bulb down so it wouldn't move it

No that's how they sit! I was thinking spacers too but they're wide enough as is!

Make sure to check my post about the inner fender lining, they rub at full lock turn right or reverse unless you pull them back

11/03/15 - Projector & Halo Headlights done by Peter at InSight Retrofit

I wanted to thank him for the great headlights! Absolutely love them and couldn't be happier, Peter kept me updated every step of the way with pictures and text's. Made sure that all the pieces were exactly what I wanted, and that everything went smoothly with installation. Wouldn't hesitate to have him make me another set for a vehicle and have recommended him to many of my friends

Been a while since I've added anything to the thread and updated what's going on with the 2nd Chance Build.

I ended up moving 1500 miles due west to Indiana to work for Toyota. Couldn't be luckier or happier at my job.

Before I left I took some photos of the snow storm that happened before I moved:

Made the move to Indiana, drove 1500 miles in the Tacoma and didn't have any issues. I was pleasantly surprised with how it performed on the trip.

When I got to my new home, needed a change of floor mats so I got some husky liners:

Love the design and fit. Then I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate moving then to test the local areas and see if the Husky Liners were worth it. Took a trip to a near by recreation park.

Looks great! How long did this coat last you? Does the black fade like the original bumper paint?

It lasted about 2 years! It got a little faded here and there from mud sitting on it, but a some little green cleaner and it was good to go again. You can see from the photo of my headlights, that was the same coat
