Looking at another 5 lug

Going to look at a 5 lug for my son! It has 28k miles, 2010 reg cab for $11K. this sounds like a pretty good deal also carfax shows all service since new at dealership. The guy says its been garaged. The pictures show it looks like its in perfect condition. How does this sound to you guys? Is there anything I should be looking for when I see it in person? Thanks for any opinions.

 

I got an 07 with 52k for 12k at a fl dealer. Not much can go wrong with a 5 lug. Good luck

 

Thanks! I am just waiting for him to give me the O.K. that he wants it and I will go check it out for him. I was just looking at your wheels. Are the MT wheels direct bolt on and do the TPMS work with them?

 

I'm not sure of pricing in your market, but I do know 5 lugs sell for less. Which is fine by me. Because I don't need more than mine offers. Or the things I might enjoy (like intermittent wipers) are a snap to add.

Here is a cheap wheel option, if you like a bit of retro look. And want to buck the trendy black wheels. BTW, 235.75.15's fit perfect with no suspension work and are much more robust that our OE 215's.

 

Intermittent wipers.I have them on mine. I Have to see if this one has them. It is ridiculous that is something Toyota cut a corner on.

 

I got mine out of Junkyard for $20...they can be had for pretty cheap. Don't forget to remove the black box and second air filter

 

O.K. so my son needs something smaller because he works in brooklyn and parking can be tight. So if anyone in NY area is interested this is a pretty nice 5 lug on craigslist in Westchester.
