I have an 1st gen dbl cab I'm planning on sound deadening the complete inside. How many sqft will it take 70 sqft? Suggestions on brand and thickness. Different thickness roof vs floor vs doors vs back wall?

Was there a big difference in outside noise inside the cabin? I am mostly interested in doing this to quiet the cabin from my loud MTs and exhaust

If you are really trying to cut down on noise, you are going to have to look into mass loaded vinyl.

No, my tires are still loud and I went ape shit with deadener. Like 100% coverage with closed cell foam in any open cavity. It does a very good job of keeping the sound IN the cab though.
