See this almost everyday at school. There is another one who I see in the mornings.

 

Who's to say every truck on this thread is or isn't a stock truck. Window tint qualifies as a mod which makes a "stock truck" no longer stock. And I also checked the OP which makes no mention of stock or non stock.

 

Really though... Who wants to read a thread full of "omg, look at this stock Tacoma". No one cares.

 

Yup. And like 3% of the half million are enthusiasts and about 3% of that 3% drive modded trucks.

 

You can get window tint options at the dealer, not really a mod. Good try though.

 

Remember when everyone used to put "tints" in their mod list in their sig?

 

"At the dealer" still makes it a mod. "Stock" is how it comes off the assembly line.

 

Quit trying to justify posting stock trucks.

 

I dont see where Ive posted any stock trucks. Im just saying the thread is open to all to post what they want.

 

"Spotted" threads have unwritten rules. If you're on a forum, you're most likely an enthusiast, right? Yes, some drive stock cars, but how can you differentiate that between an enthusiast that we care to spot/read a post about than a random stranger that happens to drive one of millions out on the road? You cant, so the next logical "rule" to post is post a truck that has *some* sort of indication of an enthusiast, such as mods, maybe a forum or club sticker, etc. We don't want to see or care about stock trucks...

Let's get out of the double digits on posts before we become self proclaimed legends. Or hell, even a profile pic.

 

I never claimed to be a legend. I just claimed my truck (with 950 lb payload, which becomes 700 if you subtract me, and 600 after the little stuff I've added like steps and bed mat) was a legend, based solely on stock FJ rims. I just love those rims, no matter what anyone says.

I still don't see why this thread isn't called Houston Tacoma stalkers, or at least South Texas Tacoma stalkers, all ya'll are around that area, except for maybe @Naveronski. I also agree that nobody wants to see stock trucks.
