I'm going to buy the Tyger Star Armor sliders.... they are $289 delivered to your door and they are sturdy as hell

 

Do they attach to the frame? Or the body like nerf bars

 

the main bolts attach to the frame with grade 8 hardware, there are also 3 small support brackets that attach to the pinch weld as you can see here:



I ran these on my JK in Colorado and they protected it and held up perfectly. I even put my hi lift under them once and they did great.

 

Ahhh gotcha. That's a unique design.

 

they are pretty subtle when actually bolted on.... they are a great medium between a slider and a step.... and for less than $300 delivered? where a lot of people are charging $600-$1,000 for a slider....

and if I'm wheeling in a place where these will break, I have a lot more than a broken slider to worry about.

 

Yeah that's not bad if you don't plan to wheel hard! Somewhat the same looks as well.

 

I've been on the fence, and I may end up selling the kings that coot just sold me. I talked to Gadget about picking up a UCON when they have any available for the 09+, and he said they are in production and will be available soon. I need that money to get my engine tuned correctly (since the magnuson/bully dog tune is garbage), so if anyone is interested let me know. I will let them go for the same price he sold them to me for, not trying to flip them to make anything.

 

so the cats that are monitored or the between the oxygen sensors are the only ones that matter. the rest can be taken out

Also @fatfurious2 thanks for tagging me in the RCI skid GB... I'll probably start with a front skid (since that is probably the most important to me) and go from there.

and someone suggested i look at the level8 mk6's... which i hadnt seen too many on 3rd gen Tacos.... I started looking and I must say.... they look super good.... got me reconsidering the Pro Comp Rockwells I was going to buy....... hmmmm
