Actually that popular consumer periodical list the very butch Honda Ridgeline as the most reliable midsize truck offering in the US.

Unlike the road test and overall scoring the reliability numbers are just statistics based owner survey.

Weird. I'm also named Tim. I'm also a plumber by occupation. I also drive my work van my company provides me with.
I also barely drive my Tacoma and also only have 850 miles on her.

This is like some second dimension shit.

I have very high expectations of reliability for my 17 when it comes in as all my Tacoma's have been bulletproof.

    I'm guessing so. o_O

Other than the reliability stats I don't give the other CR ratings too much weight when it comes to vehicles. My priorities are different than theirs.

Blah Blah Blah, bitching about reliability in the first 2 MY of a brand new design(Yes I know the engine is not new to Toyota). It happens to almost all manufactures when they completely redesign a certain vehicle that has been around since Abe Lincoln. There are some kinks to work out but lets see at 150,000 km which trucks are still going strong.... PS.. it wont be the Chevy or the GM... and it sure as shit wont be the Nissan.. since the Ridgeline isnt a real truck it doesn't count.

I'll put my money on a Toyota Tacoma/Tundra before a FORD/CHEVY/RAM.. I totaled my 2005 Prerunner/ crew cab with 120k and received $16,500.00 Buy what you think fits your character and what you want out of your truck.. Hands down.. Tacoma will not let you down.. that is my experience..

Toyota is normally really good at first year reliability & Honda used to be...in the long run, even tho TM is having some teething problems, my money is on Toyota.

Is this a good place for

I've had several Tacos and always have been a fan.

I am sorry for you that you don't love (hate??) children tho.

Well don't get me wrong I enjoy teaching my 2 year old nephew to lift his shirt for beads in preparation for when hes older at Mardi Gras, but I would not enjoy it if he were my kid. But hey that's what uncles are for.
