Hey - I went to the dealer to get some plugs and they only carried these high end iridium plugs pn:90080-91184 @11.99 each. They said this is all they carry now for these older cars but they last up to 120k miles.

Are these the plugs I should be getting now and does that maintenance interval sound right?

Go anywhere besides the dealer and you can get any plug you want.

Thats really weird the stealership only carried those...heck for the 3.4 those plugs are certainly not the right or best option. For your 3rz id go get some ngk's from a parts store!

Dual electrode tipped copper core plugs, denso brand are best for our wasted spark ignition. Change em every 50 or 60k, or 100k even. They'll cost you less than $20.

get the part number from your owners manual and go to rock auto and order your set for $3 a piece or so. Toyota quoted me $21 a piece for plugs for my girlfriends Camry. Went to rock auto got all plugs and wires for $60 all Denso OEM.

The dual prong plugs arent really used on the 3rz fur whatever reason?, those are more of a 3.4 required plug, either the denso ones or the dual ngk ones (toyota used both, even both on same engine. One side denso the other side ngk, pretty interesting really, alot of people dont know that)but OP for your 4 banger the ngk v power style er whatever they are will work well in your engine and without a massive bill like the good ole stealership tried to ram rod ya with lol...

Hey OP were the spendy ones toyota tried to sell denso brand do you know or happen to see er whatever??
