They should've removed some material to save weight then. Previous design was strong enough. More than a few people have jumped them in LT trucks and they've held up fine.

I like the edgier "new" design though, looks closer to the Volks which these are supposed to emulate. I suspect it was the motivation for the design tweak.
If you zoom in to full-size picture, "16X8" is visibly cast into the rim.

Yes they do have the brown plastic sleeve over the top coil. Checked the colors- drivers side has 2 white dots and 2 pink donts/passenger has 2 white and 2 orange dots. Not sure if the shop that installed the 5100's payed attention which spring came off each side. I find that I have close too 1/2 lean.

The ones with those outer markings like that, are typically the flow formed ones

Have them swap the coils. That should fix it.

OR, you can get aftermarket coils and a small driver's side spacer like i did

I will find a real level spot and tak more accurate measurements. I found a post of yours from 2014 and you found white/pink drivers side and white/orange passenger. Mine are this way. Your truck from Cali-mine too and someone else had different colors but was from Texas. My work was done a while ago and hopefully in the near future I will be changing aal of it anyhow. I want more lift and will be adding more weight to the rear.

My truck is an 08, built in cali. It didn't have any of those paint markings that i remember, pribably because the suspension had 50000 hard miles. I bought some new truck take off suspension from a 2013 and they were white for passenger, yellow for driver's marked. Plus i've had to ask others before too

Thanks for the info. Not something I am going to worry too much about. I do have a 1/4" spacer that I most likley will install on drivers side than realign. Also trying to find another shop that trully understands alignments on Tacoma's or are just a bit more anal about the details. Last alignment the numbers are not what I was looking for escpecially caster. However it does not pull drives pretty good but I want more caster and less +camber on passenger side.

I just bought a 5th wheel from Cochrane Toyota for mounting the spare. Spoke design is slightly different from my original set in 2012. Don't mind the color difference as the photos are taken five years apart under different lighting colors.

    Old:

The hub pad is now hogged out between lug holes, so weight has not increased (16 lb measured on my bathroom scale - lighter than advertised in page 1). I'm happy. :)
