    Hey fellas,
I have a 2005 Indigo colored 4x4 Tacoma with a snug top shell and kayak utility bars on top. Hood paint and other chips and scratches as well as a deer inflicted side wall damage and front fender clip broke causing it to need body work and full paint job.

Truck has 112,00k miles and I only put 3-4 k a year on it due to driving a commuter. It does have dirt on dirt with some dog hair thrown in so some serious detailing will be needed too. I contemplated selling it and getting another cleaner one, but why?

Looking for suggestions with paintjob, seat covers that shed dog hair. Also maybe some wheel suggestions.

I found a body shop that takes cash and does quality work (most just want to take top $ insurance jobs)

Thanks for suggestions and considerations to prevent a money pit and ensuring quality paint job that lasts.

Also for someone that needs to leave the truck outside what kind of cover or?? would you use to prevent the new paint from peeling?

    Thanks
    Don

Don't put a cover on new paint for at least a month. Don't wax for approximately the same.

As for body shop just find one that has good reviews by word of mouth. My family has been in the body shop business for 30 years and never ever advertised. Do good work and people will come back and tell friends.

I don't know about seat covers.
