True No Drill Front License Plate Bracket!

Sweet, so it sounds like Bozzmounts HG may be available this spring for the 2017 Tacoma if manufacturing occurs ?

 

Honestly, I can't make any promises. Learned my lessons. Being that we just paid for our parts, production should be for a month (February) and sea freight for another month. So that's where we're at.

 

Interested in purchasing one once my Pro comes in. Do you forsee any issues with the Pro model? Far as I know, the lower grills should be the same.

Is it possible to lower the plate a little bit? Like finagle it down a notch? I watched your video and I would prefer the plate to be below the grill. It kinda reminds me of someone wearing their pants on their stomach.

 

The BOZZmounts are design to be flexible with what you think looks best to you when mounting the brackets and positioning your license plate.
You would normally have the option with height placement. This is especially true with most vehicles.
But when we mounted the BOZZmounts on the 3rd gen Tacoma, because the bumper sticks way out from the lower grille, the most secure way was how we had it. Which is above the bumper and closer to the upper grille. Most secure mounting in my opinion especially when going through car wash.
But with additional standoff extensions (will be available to purchase) the license plate can be extended from the lower grille all the way to the front of the bumper. Lowers the license plate by 5 inches.
I'll post a photo of that setup for you when we finally receive our shipment.

I guess someone else thought this license plate location is a good spot.

 

Would the license plate mount (for 2016+) cause the license plate to rub on painted lower grill bezel / grille? Looks awfully close to the body.
