I'm running retro-solutions 55w ballasts with 6500k Morimoto bulbs. Very white light and little hint of blue. Also don't have the bounce issue.

For A factory projector, it's pretty good!

Just got the ddm tuning saber led pro and they are brighter than the 6000 lumens led I had before. (Saber version)

Sorry to hear that. I just got the saber led pro. They are quietier. My saber version was loud also, but still worked great. Gonna put that one on my pilot.

    A few minor things...
The Retrofit Source Morimoto kit. I went with 5500K 35W for my low beams and their Morimoto LED drop in units for my fogs.

These put out tons of light and nearly match the OEM LED DRL. I bought 5500K so if they were too blue/cool I could get 55W ballasts and drop the bulbs to 4500K or just buy new bulbs for $40.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the DDM plus and ultra kits?

I have been looking at the ddm hid kits and through just a little research found that the company didn't have the best reputation (these reviews weren't on this forum). That led me to look at TRS and morimoto, there kits are 60 to 80 dollars more. Can anyone weigh in on this, the last time I bought hids were about 10 years ago and a lot has seemed to change.

I've been running DDM Tuning HIDs in all my vehicles for the past 7 years and have had really good experiences.

DDM Plus CANBus 5500k 35 watt. I don't think the CANBus HID kits are necessary, but the Plus are much nicer than their standard HID kits and since they're CANBus ballasts I should never have an issue.

Thank you. Are you running the relay harness?

Nope. Just plug 'n play. Shouldn't need relay harnesses for 35 watt HIDs.

This happened a few nights ago, Morimoto Elite 55w 6500k kit. Fuse blew and melted, cant get the remnant out of the socket and don't want to put a new one in a melted plastic housing anyway. I haven't taken the system out and forget what it like, but is that fuse cord something I can get by itself or would I need the whole new harness?

Personally id want a whole new harness. Get a hold of TRS or the vendor you bought that from.... That looks dangerous lol.

    Sigh.. loo
Yea... I immediately took off the battery connectors and wrapped them up in electrical tape and just stuffed em somewhere and through back in my stock fogs. I bought from TRS so I'll see what they have to say.

TRS is warrantying the relay and sending me a new one. Now I need to find some bulbs that don't shake like crazy and I'll be a happy camper again

Called xenon depot and was told h11a is the bulb called for and no canbus, which is opposite what I've read on here. He said the h11b has the wrong connection. Which do i get????
