I bought a set off a local guy, they wouldn't fit because of the caliper. I was hoping these would.

Yup, 6x5.5 is the correct bolt pattern.

I know the lug pattern is correct. I'm referring to the offset and back spacing. I'm not sure what I need to fit them properly

Right at the top it says "wheel size calculator " or something to that extent.

Factory 16x7 2nd gen wheels are +32mm offset, so the backspace is about 5.25". Question would be if they rub the frame or upper control arms, which depend on the tires and lift (if any). It probably would be close, but I think 4.5" backspace is usually the minimum on 8" wide wheel with 4.25" to 4" being better.

BTW - do a search. Pretty sure this question has probably been answered in a thousand different ways.

I've been searching. Like I said. I'm dumb, and don't understand this. So, would -06mm offset and 4.25" backspacing fit or what?

Quick answer is yes. -6 mm will move the wheels away from the frame. Another words, a wider look. They will stick out about 1.5" further than the factory wheels. The other part is the 16". Some 16" wheels do not fit over the factory brake calipers. It looks like those wheels, according to the web page, are specific size to the tacoma. I have 16" pro comp 7089s which fit.
