Now that I finally have a rear bumper on order I was thinking about different finishes for it and have decided on going with either spray on bed liner or getting it powder coated.
I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations in the area for me to call so I can get some estimates on how much it would be to get a bumper with dual swingouts powder coated. Thank you

Ill be sure to check them out. The first place i went to quoted me 350 for sandblasting and 2 coats of powder for a bumper and swingout. Does that seem reasonable?

Ok. Thanks. I might just have it powder coated when my bumper is finished. Billy at Bruteforce told me it would only be about 200-250

I know that this is an old thread and there are several that I'll list here to consolidate the search anyone else finds themselves looking for a powder coat shop.

I got some all pro sliders a few months go and because of my limited time to "work" on them, I ended up doing a total shit prep & paint job. I decided I'd bite the bullet, pay the price for being stupid and just get them done already.

All of the shops said that my crappy paint job wouldn't be an issue since the sandblast them but maverick asked if it was the self etching primer....it was not.
I'm guessing that SEE primer would be a little more work to remove.

I was searching for powder coat shops and called a few local places that seemed to give me the "I don't want to do it" price of $300+.
Prime was $200-240 (local to me)
    Primos was $270 (HB)
    Maverick said $150

A coworker had also suggested maverick and I decided to go with them .....and called to confirm that price was for both.
They did come out nice....anything would have looked better than my ratty pain job.
When I got home I noticed that around the AP logo there were some white flecks, no idea how that could have happened. My rustoleum bare metal brush on primer was white but I would assume that all would be blasted off.

They said that they will give me a matching can of touch up spray....which is fine because these will eventually get scuffed up and my main intention for the powder coating was to have at least a solid base coat on them.
I still recommend these guys, they have been very helpful through out.

Here are the other threads that people might find helpful.
I chose to add to their because at least it has a useful title.

Has anyone had their hi lift jacks powder coated?

I'd like to do this but wondering if it will prevent it from working or just get torn up.

I just used Maverick for the first time 2 weeks ago and they seemed to have done a pretty good job. Just like you though I had a few little spots that needed some touch up (didn't notice till I got home). Cost me $120 to have a Prinsu (sides and wind deflector) rack stripped then coated. I picked them b/c they seem competent and are super easy to talk to about what you want to have done.

They were definitely cheaper than anyone else but at the same time I want it done right so it’ll last.

They gave me a can of some touch up for the sliders. I have not tried it yet not have I installed them yet.

I dropped off my high lift jack so hopefully that’ll go better, but the sliders are a lot more important.

I'd be interested in how the high lift comes out! I tried taking my ATH bed stiffeners there, but they wanted $100 to just coat it ($100 being their minimum) so I understood, and just did them myself with primer & bed liner

I’ll definitely post up when I get them. After making mess of my sliders I just don’t want to mess with any of that stuff.

The hi lift was probably a waste to pc since or costs the same as a new one.
Stupid on my part for not asking but it is what it is.

From the two items I’ve brought to them both came out ok, I think they do better with stuff that doesn’t have paint on it already.
