    OP, trucks are made of metal, exposed to all kinds of materials that corrode when met with air, varying temperature and moisture. It'll be fine, pick yourself up a bottle of iron-x, and fluid film your truck 1-2 times a year to slow the process.

    What normally goes into those threaded holes?? Is that where the front bed bar gets attached but on 3rd gens we didn't get that standard??

    Thread tap to clean the rusty shit out and then anti-seize it. It doesn't have as much of the greasy film carrier leaving that wet spot look as the oils wick away.

    I think thats the rail for the factory hard tri-fold tonneau centering peg.

    The bed rail fits the 3rd Gen too right?? I bought one but have not installed it yet because Tri Fold Cover OEM version... :anonymous:

    So OP could purchase a front bed rail install it ...

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.

    Just above the 4 dots I marked are some screws, you take them off, mount the bed rail then screw them back on
