    Ok guys i need some advice from Cali. I need a new manifold cat went bad of course.i want to go after market since i have exhaust already .need some links for Cali legal headers or even maybe used stock ones for smog? Let's see what you guys think thank you in advance for your time.

    I may be wrong, but from my understanding any headers that have a carb approved cat. Converter will pass smog. I was browsing the for sale section and someone had a set on there for sale that he never installed.

    Lol ill never leave Cali.i live in nor cal its a different country than the rest of the U.S.M. United states of Mexico. My back yard is the Rubicon and fordyce . but thank you for the help.

    you are going to be hard pressed to find an aftermarket cat / header thats cali legal unfortunately. FYI AFAIK it is illegal to sell used cats in cali.

    Are you throwing a code and not passing smog because of it, or not passing smog at the tailpipe sniffer test? If its the first, you could always try a sparkplug non fouler to space the down stream O2 sensor out of the exhaust path, or an O2 simulator.

    That stated OP im right there with you, I love cali, born and raised in So Cal, been snow skiing the past 4 of 5 weekends, 3 of which were at Mammoth which has the NATIONS MOST SNOW, and during the week i have been riding my motorcycles around and enjoying sunny weather.

    doug thorley shorty tube headers are the only one c.a.r.b leagal in cali I have them installed on my 06 4.0. they weld onto the factory cats and come with a weld on bung for your o2 sensors.

    Yeah I'm throwing the p0430 code. Can you explain a little more about this process of the spark plug deal? I know the laws about cats in cali is a joke . thanks for the help. And yeah I'm up swimming g in Nevada county lol snow wheeling on the weekends is awesome right now.
