Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but I too am in STL and have a question for you locals. I am looking at getting something like this:

    http://www.readylift.com/2005-2017-...-rock-warrior-3-0-f-2-0-r-sst-lift-kit-1.html

installed, and have gotten quotes from Pur Performance and AxleBoy, both in St. Peters. Have any of you gotten small leveling kits installed anywhere else local to this vicinity? How was your experience? Who did you go through?

Personally I think you'd be wasting your money on this spacer kit. All it will do is cause your stock shocks to wear out faster and your truck will not ride as smoothly. The best leveling/lift for the price would be the Bilstein 5100's with an AAL. You can use your stock front coils or buy some Eibachs/Toytec to match the Bilsteins.

So getting these and setting them to about 2" for front? What would I want to do in the back?

A 2" Add a Leaf (AAL) could be added to your stock leaf pack to even out the back.

You've been given good advice. We have mod days every month so keep your eyes on this thread for updates. We have one coming up this Saturday if you want to come out and meet some folks and socialize.

Alrighty, so I don't think I'll have anything ready to need help for this Saturday; if I can make it out. BUT I do need some advice on what else to grab for these to work come March Mod Day. I have an idea of where I want to put them under the truck, but beyond that I am clueless to what needs to be done.

    These Lights
turned on by the push of this button(or similar) in this carrier.

I also have 2 little led strips and round lights that I got at the xmas party. I'm not sure if they're weather proof, but I figured they'd make good additions as either floorboard lights in the cab, or rail lights in the bed.

I'm not sure how much of a pain in the ass it will be to get behind there to set things up later on. I do plan to have OBA, and a grill mounted light bar or ditch lights at some point. So what type of wiring stuff do I need to go find? and is anyone handy with this kind of stuff? I want to do most of the work myself, but I need to be taught or have extremely detailed directions.

Also with the pods I may buy 2 more to face backwards for extra reversing light. Is there a way to tap into that?

Oh and the Tailgate Power Lock mod. @VangaSTL have you, or are you interested in doing this mod?

So you need to find out the wattage of all the lights combined. Divide that number by 12 (voltage). That's how much amperage your lights will pull. So you'll need to pick up a relay that can handle the amperage. Since it's led I'm guessing it won't be very much. You'll also need an inline fuse holder not only for each light but also for the relay.

@RunMCG and I have the pop n' lock we just haven't put them on yet. hopefully by the end of the month, why do you ask?

I wouldn't waste time putting an inline fuse on each one (expensive to an extended and unnecessarily tedious). Get large enough wire to support the FLA (full load amps) of the lights combined then run the inline fuse before the relay (closest to where youre getting 12v from). Since they are led as well you have very little to worry about

Anyone need a pair of Westin Platinum Oval tube steps for a 2nd Gen DCSB? Some rust bubbling on brackets that can easily be cleaned up, I have all the mounting hardware. FREE, can meet you somewhere or you can pick up. I replaced with OEM running boards.

@RunMCG has a 2017, we got this kit from popandlock
    http://www.popandlock.net/tacoma-power-16-17?manufacturer_id=30

Here is rough diagram I put together on Visio to help you out. Sorry if it's not the most professional thing. @Sacrifice is probably right, since your load is so light, you probably don't need inline fuses for each light. If you were doing some high power Off road lights I would definitely put a fuse on each individual light, but in this case your only drawing 3 amps. So get yourself a SPST relay from autozone or wherever, (most common is 30 amp rated). Get 2 inline fuse holders, one for your load and one for your switch. I would get a 4 amp fuse for your load and a 3 amp for your switch. 16awg wire will work fine, if you want to get something heavier you can. I don't know how you plan on getting power for the switch but I usually use piggy back fuse holders and use them to tap onto an existing fuse under the dash
