Have to ask.. Thanks to anybody that can confirm for me.
03' That came with 15" wheels from factory. Has 16" FJ wheels on it now, but going back to a 15" and hoping to buy the Dick Cepek DC-2 and was wondering if maybe anybody else ran them. I'm always concerned about caliper/suspension clearance with different backset / offset.
In layman terms the way I understand it (using below numbers) If I finally get this....
The 13/16" offset is how much wider the wheel is on the outside than inside measuring from from the mounting surface. which is 3.66 inches in from inside.
    The DC-2 is :
    15x8 - going to mount KO2 31/10.50/15 C
    Offset -21mm .827 inches or 13/16"
    Back spacing 3.66"
Lugs 6/139 lugs convert to close to 5.5 inches

Is that backspacing enough to get tire away from rubbing suspension etc.. Thanks to all for reading and helping out .

Im not completely sure, but i would say you are probably going to be ok on it. Because a -21mm offset is pushing that wheel out pretty far, -12mm is usually pushing out like close to 2 inches, so i would say you will probably be closer 2 3/4 or maybe even 3 inches out. I do not know for certain, because i dont have that year, or wheel, just going on the offset of the wheel itslf.
