I plan to NOT paint my sliders black when I order them. Just wondering if anyone has done theirs in some other color and how do they look.

I have a MGM '15 and leaning towards red or blue sliders.

    LETS SEE THOSE PICTURES

I'm interested to see what the non-black ones look like after hitting several trails and being touched up etc. Good luck on getting some responses OP! Haven't seen too many non-black ones on here that i can recall!

Yeah I have only seen black ones and wonder why. I would think a color would look better touched up compared to black which shows lots of imperfections

If the welds are pretty just throw some clear on em and leave them raw. Not sure if your into that but it would look cool and touch up easy

Hmm that's a good thought. I plan to get fill plates for the wife and kid. I am thinking about LineX on just the fill plates.

Its a Frontier but a good friend of mine painted his sliders bronze on his old rig and it looked really clean on the dark red truck.

I've always like the idea of none black sliders. and if its just paint you can always paint them a different color if you really dislike what you painted them.

Yeah that is what I'm thinking but hopefully I will like the non black sliders. I'm getting ones with pill plates and plan to do black Berliner spray on that part and the rest including the mounting plates red

I would have possibly considered yellow if I still had my black truck.

    Maybe

Too close to Pittsburgh colors for me. Haha. I have red skid plates now and I hope the rev sliders won't be too much when they come in
