There is a simple "add-a-jumper" modification published here that does just that...

This is what you need for that kind of power.

Hey Tacoma World, first post and finally really getting deep into adding toppings to my taco!

With the Power Outlet in the Truck Bed.. I assume there is a good quality gauge wire running from the battery system, Obviously with the correct fuses and or relays connected and then to the Truck Bed Outlet..?

Would it be possible to tap into these wires too install your own secondary battery system which then could be plugged into a new and much better Power Inverter?so that you have another battery setup for isolated purposes due to power tools..etc?

    has anyone done this?

There was a guy trying to run a breathing oxygen machine from an inverter. Trying to remember, he added an additional battery, aftermarket inverter, the big 3 wiring upgrade. His project was interrupted from going to the hospital and not dying. He’s since disappeared, I’m fearing the worst. Anyhow you can browse through what he did. Probably more than what most would need.

You forgot to consider the efficiency of the inverter in your calculation. ;)
