I just ordered a softpack 30 with the small sidepack for under 100 total. I've been wanting a soft cooler for awhile. My buddy showed me his YETI soft cooler with the single zipper on the top and he complained about the size of the opening. He went ahead and ordered the RTIC since they are on sale right now.

I ordered and received my shipping confirmation within 20 minutes.

The "RTIC" decals on mine came right off with minimal prompting. The new decal i put on will probably do the same thing.

Looks like they have coolers back in stock as well but they're back up to their normal pricing

I've been researching coolers a ton. The 250 quart pelican weighs 92 but the 150 quart only weighs 66 empty

For anyone interested in the softpacks, here is my 30 with the optional small bag that attaches. I plan on using the small bag for valuables while out and about. They advertise it as being water resistant/proof for moderate drenching.

Doesn't really matter, point was once it is filled you might as well just leave it wherever it is.

My 45 show up this week. Unfortunately it has a pretty noticeable dent in the lid (looks like a defect not a shipping issue).
I ordered it through Amazon and they want me to ship it back and get a refund. RTIC said they'd give me a percent off $ back to me, which is what I would prefer, but unfortunately I have to go through amazon to do that....
that being said I paid $122 for this cooler during the super bowl sale.... I think I can live with a dent, I'm sure there will be plenty more when I'm done

The 50 is only about $20 more than the RTIC 45 during the campaign. I hardly call that expensive.

Damn it! You always do that to me. I guess they are hit and miss. I'm guilty of an expensive cooler purchase also but Pelican. Lifetime Warranty brah. Nothing against Rtic they just seem to come out of the gate pretty weak(generally speaking)
