Looking for a Vinyl for my Hood, block Sun Glare

    It's that time of year again when i am driving to and from work where i get real bad sun glare off my hood. Ive been looking for a nice looking matte black vinyl i can stick on my hood, but cant find any... can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I had mine done at a local shop that did vinyl wraps, cost me about $150. Well worth it to me.

    Im trying to find a way to get a template for the hoods and then i would start cutting the vinyl on a machine i have... i just dont have the tools or the time to sit down and get it all designed.

    Some stick on chrome from pep boys
    Have the Crawldorado hood skin on mine and love it as it helps greatly with glare. Pictures on the first couple of pages on my thread linked to the signature image.

    I need the wrap for glare, but mainly to hide the clearcoat that has been peeling off in the center of the hood. I'll get it re-painted eventually.

    I get bad glare off the rear curved edge the most, I'd like something for that, tired of rolling up a black towel for the dash. I asked about window tint along the bottom, but they said not to, a LEO in a bad mood would hand me a ticket to the policemans ball.

    DIY people - Look on epay for 3M 1080 vinyl film. Then find a good recipe for the necessary goop to float it into place - and a decent squeegee. The are many u-tube videos of the film installation on all sorts of vehicles.
