HID's flicker bad.

I just tried to install my hid kit i bought for my truck and when i plug it all in and turned it on they flicker like strobe lights. Can anyone tell me what i can do? Thanks

yea i did i even tried useing an old ballest that i know works for sure and still the same problem. im thinking about doing a homemade compacitor like i did for my girlfriends dads crys 300 buh not sure if it will work
