I said 09:00 but we can start earlier since I think there will be more of us this time as some Mo4wd folks are coming over too.

At 3 amps you could probably find a switch capable of handling that still and eliminating the need to locate a relay. Then one fused power line to the switch.

Your saying to run the load straight off the switch? That's bad practice I don't recommend that.

If the switch can handle the amperage there's nothing wrong with doing that. But to each their own.

Let me check the BS numbers as I'm thinking of changing the wheels out on the LandCruiser.

Has anyone used a local powder coating company for a front or rear bumper? I'm trying to figure out if the $225 for a rear bumper and swing-out is reasonable from CBI or if I can find it cheaper locally.

I used a pc company in owensville mo. They did a great job and charged me 300 for front and rear. No swing out though.

I'd like to wait until I actually get to see the new rear bumper so I can sort out the best antenna mount locations. Still need to order one more antenna for the other band as well.

I really want to design and build my own bumpers and sliders. My problem is I don't have the necessary tools nor the welding skills to complete the project by myself. My wheeling buddy that was helping me just moved to Georgia (he still wants to help but the distance between us is a bit of a deal breaker). StL is still a little far from me but y'all seem like a helpful, cool group and. If anyone is interested in helping out let me know. I'm sure we can find a way to make the project mutually beneficial.
