We should make this a monthly thing. But somewhere with better food.

 

We should have a meet down south next time! South Park Meadows area sounds good because there is plenty of parking in that area usually. Or hell why not Cabelas??? Lots of food around there and plenty of parking.

 

That's a hike. I think central Austin would be best for everyone.

 

Yeah that would really only work out well for southies and SA members.

 

And northies like myself, damn livin in Georgetown.

 

LOL I'd be up there too if it wasn't soo damn far from work. Living down south is EXPEN$IVE!

eeeshhh! I used to drive from Kyle all the way to 3M on 2222 and Riverplace. It was about 34 miles each way. I moved to Lakeway after about 7 months of that. Then got a different job and had to move south again a couple years ago. Now I am 7 miles from work each way and it still takes 30-40 minutes to get home sometimes in bad traffic.

 

That's where I'm lucky, I drive to Giddings and back road it most of the way, so it only takes about an hour to make that drive, never any traffic. Also why my 2015 Taco I got new has 92k on it lol

 

Pretty good joint on Burnet and Anderson, used to be called Houston's, think it's Bartlets or something now. Pretty big parking lot. Then I think there's a Fuckrudders just down the street on Anderson from there. All pretty central location.

 

Bartlett is $$$. Great food but that's a pricy, dimly-lit, sit-down type restaurant. The Hopdoddy's in in the same parking lot, and there are a few other good places up there as well. (I really like Dos Batos tacos across the street near Wallie World.)

There's a Pluckers and a Trudy's at Burnet/183, some good Vietnamese spots on N. Lamar/183. If that location works well for folks (esp. on a Saturday), that could be cool.

 

What about a brewery meet? Something like Jester King (a drive for most but has amazing pizza) or Austin Beerworks?

I'm out of town all of February, so maybe for the March meetup?

 

Austin Beerworks is awesome, love that place!

 

We might be late to the party, but just got online to see if there is a meet-n-greet today? We're in the NWA/CPK/RR intersection, but happy to travel within 45 minutes (that's about 12 miles in Austin - ha) for one.
