That's awesome man. If I could raise one I would want to do the American Wagyu beef thing. Never raised a farm animal. We have been looking at a house with 20+ acres though so maybe I might get a chance some year lol.

I remember having a pig roast when I was at my first duty station! Boy it was good! It was slow cooked overnight and so good! I think half of it got eaten before it was even supposed to be done!

If there are any Socal natives there is an annual wild game feast in Irvine every September. Been going for 5 years now. 21 and over, men only, all you can eat, all you can drink.

put some chicken on the electric smoker...not bbq style just some rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, garlic powder, butter and dried orange peel. with apple wood chips for smoke. Hopefully it turns out good. also threw on some country ribs with bbq spice rub for kickers. pair all this with some mashed potato's and green beans. Should be done by dinner time 6 to 630 ish..

This guy had a thousand ticks on him. We gutted it, looked in the stomach and it was mostly dirt!!! Left it laying.

Had a Smithfield ham in the freezer. Took it out Wednesday in prep for some family visiting. Got home at 4pm, lit the smoker, seasoned the ham, and smoked that sucker over some cherry and apple. Mom, dad, aunt, and wife all had thirds. I guess it was good.

Did it in the pan to capture the juices. Took it to 145IT, rested it, sliced and put it back in the juices.

Picked up a batch of apple wood this afternoon. Mostly debarked. Need to let it sits for about a month and then I will disk it up. Free wood for the mofo win!
