No matter the offset you will rub with that combo! You will need an 8"wheel with a back space of around 4.25 to 3.50(3.50 will give a fairly wide stance, will poke out like 1.5" past the flares if you have them) then do the pinch weld mod (look that up if you're not familiar) to help the cause! Even then you will still rub at full lock full stuff with only 2" and the pinch weld flattened.

A 32/11.5 tire will fit much better if your 2" kit is all you will be able to run. Might consider that? I understand the want and or need to run 33's however! Ive been there! I ran a 2.5/2.75" lift back in the day to run 33's, rubbed like a bitch at the pinch weld! Had wheels with 3.5" BS so no issues with the uca or the frame. Flattened the pinch weld and it helped alot but it still rubbed hard under the right conditions! If you dont mind doing a good bit of trimming it will be no problem at all fitting those tires you want. Heck some guys even run a 33 with no lift, just a good bit of properly located trimmage!

Another thing, a -12 offset creates a different back space depending on the wheel width. I know alot of places show offset and not the BS but the BS is the kinda more important and easier to comprehend so to speak, number to pay attention to for fitment. They both represent the same thing basically but its just easier all around to deal with a BS size, no math involved atleast, gotta do math to figure out what your dealing with when using offset and wheel width numbers... You can find a conversion table or calculator to use so you can get the BS of the wheel with the offset and wheel width. It'll make things much easier for ya i bet!

Also there are literally like a hundred, probably more actually, threads on here about this very subject. A good way to search tje site is to use Google, forget about the in house seach function. Google your question and follow it up with tacoma world in the search bar. Doing it that way yeilds far better results than TW's search function.

I have a 2.5 lift with mickey thompson classic 3 (3.6 bs I think) and 33x12.5 duratracs. I had to spend a lot of time with the BFH on the weld seam. I also had to cut about 3 inches out of the front bumper. No bubbling anymore tho.

I'm still on the fence about the stance. Contemplating changing to a 285/75/16.

Anyway here are some pics for your reference.
