Turns out the degree is not accredited by the ABET. ER told me after the first person graduates they will be able to apply for ABET accreditation. This makes me want to look for something else for sure. If the ABET doesn't give them the accreditation would that mean a worthless degree for me?

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Graduated in 08 after getting out of the Army from ERAU worldwide... decent education, but really just the fancy piece of paper... figured out it was relatively worthless and got an MBA (class of 11, Daniel Webster) in aviation management... I actually learned something in that degree program.

Daytona and Prescott are both sausage fests if you decide to go to the campus... and it's WAY too expensive especially if you want to fly things.

Graduated with a BS and MS from ERAU in the 1980s. I was in the USAF and they paid for 75% of the tuition back then. I spent 30 years in the USAF and after retiring continue working in aviation-related ventures. Lots of good feedback in this thread, but if you're not going to have a career in aerospace etc going to ERAU is not recommended. The school is very focused on all aspects of space/flight. I highly recommend attending if you plan on a future in this realm. I remember many of my professors to this day. They are very good at having experienced people teach their courses. One of my classes was taught by a NASA Aero Engineer and test pilot. The sausage-fest comment is spot on, but most women are not interested in aerospace. They prefer more esoteric offerings like 18th Century Trans-Gender Vegetarian Studies.
