    Hello all,

Looking to order New rear shocks. Questions I have :

How do the 5100 and 5160 hold up in Canada with road salt?

Do I really need to go with the 5160? I do mild off-roading when hunting or the odd time wheeling... I tow the odd dirt bike and I'm 2" over stock right now.

If any one has bought recently can you recommend some Canadian distributors ?

    Thanks Brian

You did 5100's in the front as well? I need to do the needle bearing delete still. And plan on making the decision in the front then.

Ya, was also at the 6112s but don't think I would have a need to go that big up front. Would love 885's and 5100s it's an access cab and I have no plans on a bumper

I'll be going 6112/5125 in a couple months. I really don't need the big 6112's either but for a bit more they are much better than the 5100's. I am going 5125 in the rear because I'll have the full Dakar leaf pack which gives more lift/extension than the 5160's are designed for. Just something to research and think about.

I'll most likely be ordering from Headstrong and Wheelers (sans the Dakars which will be bought locally since shipping is ridiculous) and have those parts brought up with family.

Local dealership that treats a local Toyota club very well. Was quoted $670ish when I contacted their parts department.
