Moog is not what it used to be. Their quality in general has taken a dive.

@Blackout14 I got around to installing them today, and the directions stated to replace the cotter pin after torquing the nut that connects the UCA to the spindle, but I don't see how as the nut isn't a castle nut. Was this a misprint in the directions, or am I supposed to be using a cotter pin?

Ok great. I was really quite worried there for a second haha I sent a comment via the JBA website, so please disregard that.

Still need to install coils, so right now I can't really tell the difference. I used the Total Chaos UCA install video which tells you all the tools you need and give you step by step directions. Hardest part was getting the UCA long bolt out, as that requires bending the body to make room for it. Other than that, it wasn't bad

Oh and to bend the body you will need large channel locks. My normal size ones didn't do the job

Here it is with some OME 885 coils and Bilstein 5100 shocks! Can't explain how pleased I am with this product! Also, marlin got back to me about the nut, and it's a locking nut so I double checked that torque and I was good to go! If you are looking at getting this product, just go ahead and get it, you will not be disappointed!!

Going to order these for my 5th gen 4Runner. After reading through this post it looks like the current version doesn't have any issues at all. I was on the fence between JBA and Camburg BJ UCA's.

Wanted BJ UCA's and it was a toss between JBA or Camburg. The Camburgs look cooler but after reading some forums most folks were only able to obtain the same amount of caster as their OEM units. Plus you got to remove the UCAs to press in new ball joints. Their customer service leaves much to be desired too. After reading some posts in this thread and over on the T4R forum the general consensus for JBAs current model looks like the right choice; good customer service, price, serviceability, and overall quality.

The new Camburg arms come with Moog BJs installed. The potential lack if caster is what has me on the fence.

Is your name really Dick? Are you a hard fella to get along with?

Joe, tell Marlin to send me a pair of UCA's for a second gen. @Blackout14

Hard to get along with? Nah, not much. Only when I get a little excited, I supposed.

The alignment numbers with these and OME 885s which gave me 2.5" of lift are awesome!! Im gonna get it aligned again next Tuesday because the morons that aligned it this this past week didn't give me 0* camber and 3-4* of caster like I told them to. They left it at .4* camber both sides and 5* of caster both sides... so you can get any numbers you need with these lol
