A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
4.88's is what seems to be the popular vote around here. And with the towing I'll be doing, that looks like the way I'm going.

    Raider Nation!

Yeah, looks like it's a solid setup but not something that I would consider at this time as this is still my DD......for now
Sad, yes. But it will be back up and running for Jambo. It would already be fixed if my wife's Heep didn't need work.
    Glad to see those numbers.

Closer to 6K on the front D60 and about 1200 on the rear 14B. I went with the cheap shave in it though using the Barnes high clearance diff cover and a sawzall.

That would make for a really solid setup. Not sure if I'm ready to go all out yet. I think I would want another DD before I make it a hardcore trail rig.

Right now I'm living between trail rig and insane work truck, lol.

As long as it's up before Jambo. Rosie caught me looking at fj twinstick transfer case and a crawl box. Trying to persuade her but I may have fibbed a little on the total price

Show her an Atlas 4 and tell her how much you want it. Drop the price on her and let it stew for a couple days. Then come back and tell her that you found a less expensive option. Done and done.

That's why I don't wheel my Tacoma and have a trail rig. I had fully built Toyota axles and a built to the hilt Marlin 23 spline 2.28/4.7dual transfer case and an R151 and a PSC hydro assist which I sold to build the one tons and buy an Atlas2. Now I just have to finish the 3 link, a340 and full Hydro. It's been an ongoing project to say the least.

This truck will be a dedicated trail rig once it's paid off. I'll be looking for a tow pig then.

Let's just say "Hold my beer and watch this" will take a backseat to "Oh shit, here comes Warren!"

Upon installation of the new gears, what do you suggest. OEM paper gaskets or RTV?

RTV GREY is what they recommend.
It says get on the tube so you are good in that aspect of it.

I used the oem gasket and haven't had any issues and it wasn't messy at all.
