Does your switch illuminate? Here is what I ended up doing (I could spare a blank switch)

Weight has very little to do with the power required to tow at highway speeds. The biggest power requirement is to overcome wind resistance. If you bought a very square and high profile trailer, this could account for the difference. A lower rounded trailer top and corners would help with that.

As you said, you had no problem around town were the weight is the biggest factor since you aren't going fast enough for winter to come on to play.

As has been discussed, 3 to 4k rpms for extended times should be no issue. If you want more piece of mind, get a Bluetooth OBD adapter and run torque. Keep any eye on engine and transmission temp. Those are your best telltales of power train health. The dash temp gauge doesn't report reality, only the general range of the temperature.

Absolutely.. and in the FACTORY style too.. where you can't see any ridiculous velcro straps or pockets. The airbag will come through the seam. This has sadly been tested in a few real life situations, each time we received calls that the airbags deployed correctly. Here is the test video: http://www.clazzio-11i.com/engine/swf/player.swf?url=../../data/video/airbag_test_1.flv

Yes. The switches illuminate on the bottom with the dash light circuit and the logo lights up when the switch is activated.

    ^^^^ this .
Imagine riding in the back of the pickup (used to be legal) and at 65 mph . Hold up a 100 pound steel bar of steel 2" dia. You will feel some resistance from the wind . Now hold up a 4'x4' sheet of plywood that maybe weighs 10 pounds facing the wind. This is why the Vee front trailers are better to have if you drive on the freeway.

Is it just me or did you put an SR5 grill on? I do think it looks the best other than the Pro or the TRD when dipped. Nice choice.
