Why is everyone wigging out about MPGs recently?

Stop modding it and driving like you stole it and you'll get just fine MPGs.

I have a 13' trd dcsb and average 15-20 with a arb bumper with the 4.0. debated running a 255/80/16 tire vs a 265/70/16 to see if it helps at all. my biggest question is if it will fit without a lift.

Not a lot of information there, is it a 4x4, is it lifted and what is the service history. Toyota's get terrible mileage when you consider the size of the truck but people love them for other reasons. If mileage is your main concern then I'm sure someone would be willing to take the truck off your hands and you could go buy a full size ford. So many things can affect mileage and the subject has been beaten to death here many times.

Some mods dont have much mpg effect. Weight and huge tires, well they do. Some items ppl think lower mpg rlly dont, or do so much smaller than ppl like to think

Why fix something that's not broken? If i recall there was some guy on here with 126k or something on his plugs and i said shit well ill do them at 100k then if that guy went that far with them. Plus i have always thought it to be 60k intervals, 30k seems a bit quick.
