Does anyone have the Rigid D2 fog lights? I am not seeing a strong cutoff of the beamspread. Looking to see what others were seeing. Mine looks kind of diffuse.

you're not going to see a cut off with these. With the Dually DOT ones, you will, but they won't be as bright. I have both.

So does that mean it's illegal to drive on public roads with my normal D2's on? I just bought a set...

Well crap. Looks like I'll have to treat my fog lights like my brights.

Yes, they're not street legal. Like I said, there are 2 sets of DOT LEDs that Rigid makes. They have very good cut off which are legal.

Just keep them and get you some of the DOT ones.

I had the Rigid SRM driving lights, all diffussed light , wasn't happy at all about paying big bucks for a driving light with no cutoff or down road illumination. mostly lit up the tops of trees

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
I have the Rigid DOT Fogs. They do have a cut off line. Have a nice wide angle and are similar to the range as the headlights. I added the amber covers to help with visibility in fog and snow. I think they dimmed the brightness more than I want. Going to try a yellow lens cover at some point.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
The Rigid DOT dually has a nice distinct cutoff, aim them correctly and they're great fog lights. Bright for the driver, not too much glare to oncoming traffic.

The D2 Driving pattern is not SAE/DOT approved unfortunately. Sounds like that may be the lights you're running?

unless they're pointing straight down, which would be useless, there is no cut off. You're going to obliterate oncoming drivers with those things.

Used them the other night in the rain and not one flash. At 25 foot they are only 2 foot to the top of the beam.

Are they the DOT approved D2's or the regular D2's?

There are no such thing as DOT approved D2s.

Sorry, meant the SAE compliant ones for on-road usage.
